Choc Chip Pancakes

These choc chip pancakes work just as well for a weekend brunch or for a sweet treat after dinner. I tend to make smaller pancakes. and this recipe makes around 8. The amount of chocolate you put in the pancakes is totally your choice and if some happens to get eaten during the process it is all in the naming of a taste test 😉

  • 1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 3/4 cup (185ml) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup choc chips
  • butter to brush

  1. Heat a large pan and melt a knob of butter in it
  2. Whisk milk and egg in a bowl
  3. Add flour and sugar and mix together
  4. Using a small ladle, add one spoon to the pan
  5. Sprinkle choc chips on top
  6. Flip after 2 minutes or when bubbles appear all over the pancake
  7. Cook for another two minutes
  8. Serve with fruit and maple syrup

xx Enjoy
