Green frappe Bowl

As we are going into autumn, in true Australian fashion this weekend is set to be as hot as 39 degrees. This smoothie bowl is perfect to cool you down for breakfast with the added satisfaction that you have already had a serve of greens. I was a bit iffy the first time I had a green smoothie but you can’t taste the spinach at all! I have put up some other alternative smoothie bowls in Tropical, Mixed Berry and Raspberry.

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwi roughly chopped
  • large handful of spinach
  • 100g pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut water

Toppings

  • Peanut butter
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Slivered almonds

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together
  2. Pour into a bowl
  3. Melt peanut butter in the microwave before dribbling it on top with the other toppings
