Beef Stirfry

Stir-fries are an incredibly easy dinner and the perfect way to use up the random leftover bits of veggies in the fridge. The hardest part is usually the sauce but the one used today is perfect for any type of meat and has only a handful of ingredients. Cornflour makes the sauce a bit thicker so it can coat the meat, noodles and vegetables

Ingredients

  • beef strips
  • onion sliced
  • 2 cup chopped vegetables ( i used, carrot, broccoli, red cacapsicumd capscium)
  • 1 packet Hokkien noodles

Sauce

  • 50ml soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Method

  1. In an oiled pan, cook the onion and beef on medium
  2. Prepare noodles according to instructions
  3. Add vegetables to the pan and cook for 2 minutes until slightly soft
  4. In a separate jug mix all the ingredients for the sauce
  5. Add to pan and turn up the heat to medium-high
  6. Mix until sauce thickens
  7. Add noodles and stir through before serving

Enjoy xx
